How is a text tag structured and what parameters can you use.

A text tag is composed of different elements and parameters.

{{esl

This is the beginning of a text tag. You should always start with this.

Signer1

This is the first signer for which the shortcut is intended.

PAY ATTENTION! Signer must always be written with a capital letter within ValidSign.

The type of field

Here you can enter what type of field should be placed

size (200.50)

This is the size of the field. This example uses a value of 200 pixels wide and 50 pixels high.

}}

This will close the tag. }} should always be included to end the tag.

There are several extra parameters that you can use in a text tag. Below is a brief explanation.

parameter

Description

offset

Offset (in pixels) should be applied when positioning the field relative to the top left corner of the text tag. 2 parameters can be given, where the first value is the horizontal line, and the second value is the vertical line.

size

Size of the field (in pixels). 2 parameters can be given, where the first value is the width of the field, and the second value is the height of the field.

group

The group option can be used in combination with the radio buttons field type. This links the radio buttons to a group, so that they are linked to each other within ValidSign. The group name will be placed in parentheses and quotation marks as in this example for group 2: group("2")

Value

The value “ Value” is the default value of a field. For example, if a checkbox should be automatically checked, the value “ X” should be specified for the Value.

It can be useful to give multiple parameters to a text tag. The properties of the text tag come last and are distinguished by a comma. The structure is shown below:

{{esl:Signer1:[Shortcut]:[PARAMETER1],[PARAMETER2],[ETC.]}}
